Although a main areas of interest are: Maternal Health in terms of: 1. Women health in terms of: health education and programmes implementation throughout ANC, high risk pregnancy, natal care, post natal care and family planning. 2. Child health in terms of: health education and programmes implementation throughout Immunisation, Breast feeding, weaning food and food supplementation, Growth monitoring and health education for the mothers her families, her supporter and the community as a whole regarding diarrhoeal diseases, respiratory diseases and related health and disease indicators. This extends to Epidemiology and infectious diseases - including HIV and AIDS, community based health care and preventive medicine and the development of the health care systems and policy currently as pertinent to the Gaza Strip. I believe that my skills and experience have been enhanced by my very recent period of post-graduate study and research in Britain at the Institute of Child Health, London, which resulted in the award of MSc with a distinction grade pass in the dissertation. Furthermore, the course of International Issues in Health System Development in Oslo. As part of the MSc course requirements, I carried out a research project, which assessed level of maternal health care at the secondary health care level in the Gaza Strip. This involved a survey of 200 women and 30 medical staff, in a range of three health localities scattered throughout the region. This period provided a very good academic and research training in the design and implementation of 'fairly' large scale research project, as well as provide very valuable information about the quality and level of need for Secondary health Care Services and how better to introduce changes in service delivery and, above all, health care policies. I have, for your information, if you have the time, to have a look, I will be very happy to send you a copy of my project. 10) Computer skills: Word processor, Epi-Info, and SPSS which are recommended by WHO for health research, and power point. 11) References: 1.
